In 2018, she conquered the world when she won two gold medals at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in two completely different sports. With this achievement, she made world sporting history forever.

At the next Olympics in Beijing in 2022, she won her third Olympic gold medal when she dominated the parallel giant slalom on snowboard. She was fourth in the Alpine Combined and fifth in the Super-G, confirming once again that Ester is one of the world's absolute best in both sports.

She already has 28 World Cup wins and 52 podium finishes in both sports combined. She has won 2 gold medals from the World Championships and is the holder of 4 large and 3 small Crystal Globes from the World Snowboard Championships. In the overall Ski World Cup standings, she finished second in downhill (2020) and twice third in super combined (2020) and downhill (2022).

ALL STR TEAM JAN KLAPAC FOUNDATION

I have been thinking for a long time how to help exceptional athletes who, for various reasons, have not had a chance to make a living "in their old age" and do not live the life they deserve for their sporting heroism and representation of the Czech Republic.

I wanted to thank these legends and remind them that they have been a tremendous inspiration to me and that I respect them tremendously for the amazing name they have made for our country abroad.

Therefore, together with my grandfather, I set up an endowment fund and saved from my prize money from the races 1.000.000,- CZK, which I distributed among the most needy last year.

I chose from among the athletes who inspired my parents' and grandparents' generation not only with their extraordinary achievements, but also with their character qualities and their honesty and modesty, and who became an example for me. Unfortunately, before I could carry out my project and raise money for them, some of them were no longer with us.

This year, the Czech Savings Bank supported the NF and backed our project, so I can continue my philanthropic intention.

I would like to gradually involve other young athletes, exceptional personalities and successful businessmen who would like to remind the national treasures of Czech sport that we appreciate their hard work, determination, will and honesty, which, at least for me, are the cornerstones for building exceptional things not only in sport.

Here is the account number for you who would like to contribute any amount to the "All STR team of Jan Klapac Foundation".
